1. Definition

Co-extensive Permit means a permit granted under Section 9(2)(b) of the Immigration Act, 2003 that allows dependents of permit holders to enter and reside with the principal applicant in the country. “Dependent” in this context refers to conventional nuclear family that consists of husband and wife or father, mother and children.


2. Requirements

  • Completed and Signed Application Form

  • Request Letter from Principal Applicant (email address, Postal Address & Phone contact to be included)

  • 2 certified passport sized photos

  • Copy of Passport (Bio-Data)

  • Copy of Birth & Marriage Certificate or Kinship Certificate (Proof of Relationship)

  • Police Report (18 yrs +)

  • Medical Report

  • Copy of confirmed outward Airline Ticket or Bond payment.

  • Copy of Principal Applicant’s passport & Permit status endorsed onto the passport.

  • Copy of Principal Applicant’s latest Local Bank Statement (if working or residing on Assured Income)

  • Application fees: $452.00 ((if Principal Applicant is working or residing on Assured Income)

  • Copy of Principal Applicant Scholarship letter (if sponsored student)

  • Application fee: $180.00 per applicant (if Principal Applicant is a Regional student)
