1. Definition

Exemption status granted to any serving member of Her Majesty’s Forces to enter and reside in the country for the period of an authorized military exercise, training or secondment. Authority is under Section 8(1)(c) of the Immigration Act, 2003.

  

2. Requirements

New or Extension

  • A letter of request from the Service concerned.
  • A letter of endorsement from the Ministry of Defence.
  • A letter of endorsement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Certfied copy of the applicant's passport (Bio-data page).
